Photography/Graphic Design: Warp Records Photomontage (27 April 2012) A Facebook banner for Warp. I’ve used my photo-montaging technique I usually use with photography to created a blurred, warped (to pardon the pun) image. I recomposed around 50 images and album covers from Warp’s artists, including Boards of Canada, Autechre, Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus, Hudson Mohawke, Battles, Squarepusher, among others. Any hyper-fans like myself, I’m sure you’ll be able to pick out what is where. I was particularly inspired by the general ethos, and glue behind Warp. As a very cohesive label, it seeks to always look for the forward thinking, avant-garde acts, working together in an ebbing flow of immersion and continuousness.
